Japanese Cave Geckos, also known as Goniurosaurus orientalis, or Goniurosaurus sengokui, is a species of Gecko from a Japanese Island region. The appearance of the Japanese Cave Gecko, Goniurosaurus orientalis, is black and pinkish to orange color. They can have a random pattern, or banding on their bodies.

The nocturnal Japanese Cave Gecko will need a cool enough and humid enough enclosure. A single gecko can be housed in a tub or 20 gallon tank for the entirety of its life. They will need a consistent diet, which should be a diet of Dubia Roaches or crickets (often dusted with calcium) and water. They do best with appropriate substrate, hides in which to comfortably seclude themselves, and artificial or living plants to bring them comfort and security in their homes.
